How to add another user to your vps machine. If you need help after you have tried to add a user and it's still not working please open a ticket in the discord and we can assist you.
Steps for adding a user:
- log in to your vps.
- In the search bar type "users" and you will see Add, edit, or remove other users
- Click on Add, edit, or remove other users
- Setting will popup with Add someone else to this pc
- Click on Add someone else to this pc
- On the right-hand side you will see More Actions with an arrow click on it
- Once you have clicked on you will see another window popup where you can add the info.
Note: uncheck the user must change password at next login and then click on password never expires - Then click on create
Give the new user the password you gave them, or they can tell you what they want the password to be.
How to add the user to Administrators:
- Go to the tab Member of
- Go to groups and copy the Administrators
- Click Add at the bottom left
- A window should come up and say select groups
- Paste the copied Administrators
- Click on check names
- It would have numbers or letters than /administrators
- Click on okay
- Then your other users can see the files you have on your side.
